Good old Huxley. The collie-cross had suddenly stopped in her tracks, keen eyes fixed on the foot of a beech tree. After a draining 2 hours slogging up the steep slopes above Lake Rotoiti searching with hi-tech radio tracking equipment it was the dog that had finally found our kiwi bird.
