Tim Cuff produces feature videos for corporate clients, arts organisations, and news media such as the New Zealand Herald.

There is no better training ground in complete package video production than working in news. The footage must be shot in reportage style and audio correctly recorded, all the while endeavouring to create a structure for the piece as the event develops. Editing must be completed in hours - not days or weeks - before the finished video is uploaded and put online. It's high pressure work, and often done on location.

These techniques transfer well to corporate video, especially in terms of shooting quickly and telling a story in a succinct way and that's where Tim's skills as a stills photographer are evident. As an experienced feature writer he also understands how a compelling narrative is essential to hold the eye of the viewer.
